I see the world a little more harshly than many of the people I know. My concern is that if a serious fight starts, of any type, the average U.S. citizen will be like a house pet fighting a coyote.
If you do not think many extremely bad actors came into the U.S.A. during the mass illegal migration across the our southern border in the recent past then it’s not that you can’t see, it’s that you are unwilling to look.
I believe many citizens will be wanting to forgo the metro sexual male and be looking for the return of the Old School American Male. If you don’t know what I mean by that, I’m not sure I can define it for you. You will know when you are dealing with one of these men and for clarity it has nothing to do with sexual preference. A few of these men like to fight but all these men are willing to fight for what they believe.
I’ve seen many memes with a graphic of a Knight warrior petting a kitten with the phrase “You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you’re capable of great violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful, you’re harmless.” I sort of think of this as the Old School American Male.
I have always believed that one of the most important schools for developing people is the school of team sports. Your personal success is only part of the deal. Handling losing when you did your best or winning when you were maybe a negative contributor are important lessons but more important is learning about trust and how much more a team can accomplish than an individual. Lone wolves don’t do as well as teams, just ask any coyote (two or four legged).
If you haven’t seen the movie Red Dawn you should watch the original, the remake is good, but I thought the original was a lesson. People will say it’s inflammatory and maybe it is. I’m starting to think that people need to get a little more excited.
If you own a gun and anyone or any entity, for any reason, is trying to take it away they, by the very act are trying to take control of you. I do not think you will find many examples of societies that surrendered their weapons willingly. If they did they were likely being protected by a group that did not give up their weapons and that groups allegiance is fleeting.
If you feel that some other entity is responsible for your safety and has your best interests at heart, you may want to befriend some Old School American Males.
If you feel the government always has your best interest at heart, please review and never forget the February 2026 State of the Union Address when our congress was asked to stand up if they believed that the government’s first responsibility is to protect our citizens. It’s pretty clear how one party responded.
